The system was developed for applications in low and medium voltage panels, as well as other applications involving electrical connections with significant currents. The sensors use infrared detection technology to measure temperature without physical contact, allowing local and online reading and protection for up to 125 points per relay. Each sensor provides temperature measurements of both the target and the environment around the sensor, enabling fault detection at points not directly monitored, through indirect heating.
